Expanding beyond the beautiful landscapes Inyo County hosts ghost towns, historic battle fields, and the old stomping ground of the Manson Family. Since the traditional Halloween Soiree is out of the question this year, we have put together a spooky tour of Inyo County to feed your ghoulish cravings. Ghosts don’t require social distancing.
The Haunting of Inyo County
We created a map showcasing the local haunts of Inyo County . The Blue Labels are ghost towns, the grey labels are points of interest in the Manson cases.

Charles Manson was captured in Inyo County and his preliminary court hearings were held right here at the Independence Court House. During these trials Squeaky Fromme and Sandra Good stayed in Cabin 3 (Taboose).
