Strider's Fitness Retreats for Women

Escape to the magic of California's High Sierra. Striders retreats are a no-nonsense getaway to challenge your body and refresh your mind.

Forrester Pass looking south toward Mt. Whitney, Forrester is the highest pass in the Sierra.

The week-long retreats are directed by Cris "Strider" Chater, owner of the Mt. Williamson Motel and Base Camp. The group retreats are limited to 8 women each; private retreats also are available.

Group retreats cost $1,200 per person and include:

— 7 nights lodging; see Cabins.

— 3 vegetarian meals each day, taxes and gratuities (meals on arrival and departure days are not included).

— Six days of workouts with Strider.

— Use of nearby rustic hot springs.

— Evening discussions and programs.

Massages are available by appointment for additional cost.

Arrival Days:    Retreats are offered once a month, Saturday to Saturday.
Arrival Time:
    Please plan to arrive by 5 p.m. on your arrival day.
Departure:       11 a.m. (times may vary slightly).
Airports:           Mammoth International Airport (85 minutes away).
